The new BF40 and BF50 models are lightweight, compact 3-cylinder engines with 808 cc displacement that offer high torque and outstanding performance.
How do we do that? Through the electronic fuel injection called PGM-FI, which provides easy starting, powerful acceleration and outstanding fuel economy. The long, slim intake manifold and small electronic components save weight and space. This contributes to the compact design.

Added to this are our unique BLAST™ (Boosted Low Speed Torque) control system and the particularly efficient lean mix control of the ECOmo system. Thus, you get a very impressive combination of performance and efficiency.
